BASEBALL: Yakima National Little League is taking registration at Elks Memorial Park on Monday and Tuesday and the cost is $40. The season is from July 21 through Aug. 21 with all games Monday through Thursday. The league is for boys and girls ages 8 to 12 from throughout Yakima County. * All-Star Baseball Academy is sponsoring its seventh-annual summer skills camp July 28-31, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day at Davis Field. Lunch and T-shirts are provide, as well as tickets to a Yakima Bears game. For more information, call Pete Orgill at

BASKETBALL: Registration has started for this year's Yakima Hot Shots 3-on-3 basketball tournament Aug. 23-24 in downtown Yakima. Teams can register by going online at www.yakimahotshots.org, or by calling the Yakima Parks and Recreation Department

 

FOOTBALL: Davis High School will host several Seattle Seahawks for a one-day camp from 1 to 4 p.m. July 14 at Randall Park. Registration starts at noon. and the camp is free for boys and girls ages 8 to 14. For more information, contact Rick Clark at 573-2730.

* The third annual Davis Football Camp will be July 15-17 at Kumler Field. Camp times are 5 to 8 p.m. each day. Cost is $50, which includes a T-shirt and pizza on the final day. For more information, contact Rick Clark at 573-2730.

 

GYMNASTICS: The Gymnastics Plus Booster Club will be conducting two day camps for girls and boys ages 5 and up. The camps are July 18 and Aug. 15, from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. both days at Gymnatics Plus (2121 W. Lincoln Ave.). Cost is $40 per camp, which includes a shirt and camp photo. SOFTBALL: Registration has started for Central Washington University's softball camps. There are three separate sessions -- July 27-30 (registration deadline of July 13), Aug. 3-6 (deadline July 20), and Aug. 10-13 (deadline July 26). Early registration is $345, which includes room and board, or $195 for commuters. Those fees rise $20 after the respective deadlines. TENNIS: The Yakima Community Tennis Association has tennis starting at 6 p.m. three evenings a week at Kissel Park. Tuesdays and Thursdays are for adults and kids, and Wednesdays are for junior players only. For more information, call Eric Robbins at 949-4901.

 

VOLLEYBALL: The Davis Pirate Volleyball Camp will be July 21-21 from 5 to 8 p.m. each day. The camp is for girls in grades 4-8. Registration is $40, which includes a T-shirt. For more information, call Kylee Sixkiller at 952-5953, or by e-mail at sixkiller.kylee@yakimaschools.org.
