OK, Editors, you asked and I hope more readers will respond to these comments sections. They are both entertaining and educational, I believe. Thanks again for the opportunity to respond. That said, I believe you left a very important item off the agenda for consideration here. Immigration is no small issue to be ignored. Once the true numbers of illegal immigrants are admitted by the media, (They are getting closer - some papers in Arizona now admit to 20 million or more - it's more like 30+ million) the importance of the issue changes significantly. I would like to see whoever becomes President, (and I feel it is a toss-up when it comes to immigration - they will both give over to these criminals) that he will bring the troops home as soon as possible and immediately rotate them to the borders of our country. To me, the expense is far more justified than a war in a foreign country that we, (other than Afghanistan) really have no business in. If those war dollars had been spent in the local defense of our country from the insidious invasion that has taken place since Reagan's first "Amnesty" in 1983, we wouldn't have the problems we have now with the impact on our society by these invaders. I fail to see the logic in the people NOT TO DEMAND the Federal Government to enforce our immigration laws, EXACTLY THE WAY THEY ARE ALREADY WRITTEN. Instead, the politicians are using the presence of these people to further their own nefarious ends of cheap labor and votes - what a bunch of crooks! Our incumbent politicians, almost to the person, in every level of government, need to go, and in the meantime, we need to get back to good old-fashioned leadership instead of greed and self-aggrandizement, (ie. Have you noticed how often Patty Murray uses the pronoun "I" in her messages and speeches?).
