Gas prices are being affected by our foreign policy. All this spending on our occupation in Iraq is resulting in the Federal Reserve printing more money to compensate for our spending. This results in the value of our dollar declining. Once we stop unnecessary spending and get the value of our dollar back, we're going to continue with these problems such as the price of gas and price of food. Since this is article is about police spending, I think it should also be brought up that we should also eliminate the War on Drugs. Too much spending without any real results that benefit our society.
